This path is a read-only guided walkthrough. For live generation, your operator runs BenchCode and invites you to the real workbench.

    Connect GitHub (OAuth)

    BenchCode never shows your token in the browser; only the actions you approve (branches, commits, PRs) run with your scopes.

    Pick a repo + optional open PRs

    We fold default-branch context and selected PR bodies into the prompt so the assistant reasons about your tree—not a stale paste.

  3. 3

    Generate → diff review → one commit

    File blocks reconcile with snapshot paths, show as colored diffs, and can export as a unified patch before push.

  4. 4

    Open a PR with issue links + CI visibility

    Session notes and Fixes #123 lines can append automatically; check runs for the head SHA surface in the sidebar.
