2. Self-hosted deployment

When you deploy BenchCode on your own servers, you are typically the data controller for end-user and application data. We do not receive that content unless you choose to send it to us (for example support email, optional telemetry you enable, or third-party APIs you configure).

Depending on your settings, prompts or excerpts may be sent to local models (e.g. via Ollama on your network) or to external APIs (e.g. cloud LLM providers). Review each provider’s privacy terms before enabling keys in production. Minimize secrets in prompts and rotate API keys regularly.
